Entry for The Art of Maku's contest ~

Igarashi, Hiroka or "Arco" as he prefer to be called, is a club owner and the leader of the Igarashi-kai yakuza clan.

Orca or the "killer whale" is often depicted as killers....which is true because they are the ocean's top predator, due to their intelligence.

But, they are also gentle creatures, they often "kill" other mammals like dolphins, porpoise, fish, sea lions and what not to survive. No evidence has been brought to support that they eat humans as well.

I tried to incorporate the same traits to Arco for being a Yakuza leader. As Yakuza members are also often depicted as criminals with a gentle heart.

That's why the Orca is my favorite sea creature 🙂
